At the moment, our High 5s team are having considerable success!
In the recent Mick Ashton tournament at Barnby Road School, we managed to win all of our games in the first round, apart from a draw with Coddington. This meant that we were through to the quarter-finals, where we beat Barnby Road on a penalty shoot-out. We then played Winthorpe in the finals, who we had beaten in the first round. However, they managed to win this game, so we were very proud runners-up.
Then, in another tournament organised by the Grove School, also in memory of Mick Ashton, we again came second to Winthorpe. We won every game, apart from the game against Winthorpe, where we lost 1-0.
We have lots of year 5 children who have started High 5s club and are already showing good progress, so hopefully they will continue our successes!
Congratulations to our brilliant High 5s players.
