What a lot of groovy moves we saw that afternoon! After that, they all went down into the foundation unit for some food and had a surprise visitor...Father Christmas! Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the afternoon. 'The Snowman' party - 11 December 2009
Key stage 1 have had a great week. We kicked off our snowman themed week by watching 'The Snowman' by Raymond Briggs. All of our literacy, numeracy and topic work was then based around the story. The week ended with a snowman party where we did lots of exciting dancing, ate ice lollies and sang along to 'White Christmas' as snow fell in the hall. What a winter wonderland! Infant Craft Afternoon - 08 December 2009
The infants had lots of grown ups in their classrooms on Tuesday for 'craft afternoon'. What a lot of cutting, sticking and glitter!! Mr Poole was not a happy chappy when he saw all of the mess but it was all worth it! Each classroom had different festive activities set out. Children and adults were making mobiles, snowflakes, wintery bookmarks and so much more! A huge thank you to everyone that joined in with the fun. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
