Community Support

Chuter Ede are proud to play an active part in our community and would like to share details of how we can help two local charities that we have a history of working with and are supporting in the run up to Christmas.

Newark Foodbank support many families in our area.  People can make donations of food at many local supermarkets, including Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose and most Co-ops. Newark Foodbank are grateful for the generosity of the people of Newark.

Each Christmas The Salvation Army provide Christmas gifts for children who may otherwise not receive them.  This year school are pleased to be a collection point for donations of toys that are no longer used and could be re-loved by others.  These will be collected by The Salvation Army and distributed to children within our area at Christmas.  Our Fernwood and Balderton sites will have slightly different arrangements for collecting toys in a Covid-safe manner.  Details will follow.

Our relationship with these charities is mutually supportive and they are keen for school to direct families to them.  Please come and speak to us if you would like our help with this.   Families can also access services directly.
