Welcome to our Cloughton blogs. Today is a shorter staff update, as you can imagine its been a hectic one. There will be more tomorrow with input from the children, so keep an eye out for that!
We have made it through day one and the children are all safe and sound asleep in their beds.
We had a really great day exploring the Deep, walking through the underwater tunnel, watching the dive show and becoming penguin detectives!
We arrived at Cober Hill at around 5.30 and the children "finally" found out who they would be in a room with. We had a short time in our rooms before we headed to a dinner of tomato soup, beef bourginon and chocolate mousse.
After dinner, we wrapped up and went on our night walk. The children especially enjoyed turning off their torches and experiencing walking in the dark.
We arrived back at Cober Hill at around 9.15 and the children were more than ready for bed!
We are all very excited for Tuesday's adventures to the Whitby museum and the infamous walk from Goathland to Grosmont.
