Salary £8628 pa
The Governing Body of Chuter Ede are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic cleaner to start asap/ November 2026 at Chuter Ede Balderton site. This post is for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 2.5 hours per day, 12.5 hours per week.
Applicants can apply for either of the following shifts:
• Morning Shift: 5:00am – 7.30am or
• Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to join our friendly team. This is an important role in helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our school.
Duties will include:
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
• Hoovering, mopping and dusting
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school
We are looking for someone who:
• Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual
• Has a good eye for detail
• Takes pride in their work
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for children and staff
Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.

The Governing Body of Chuter Ede are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to start asap/ November 2026 at Chuter Ede Balderton site. This post is for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 1.5 hours per day, 7.5 hours per week, term time only
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Midday Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their school day.
The Role
As a Midday Supervisor, you will play an important part in ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable and well-organised part of the school day. Duties will include:
• Supervising pupils during the lunchtime period.
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging good manners.
• Supporting children in the dining hall and playground.
• Assisting with playground activities and encouraging inclusive play.
• Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns appropriately.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
