In Year 4, we encourage children to read regularly – this can be by themselves or to a parent or sibling. Please record reading in their diaries. 

Spellings will be set on a Friday in their spelling lesson and tested the following Thursday. Please practise these at home – this can be on EdShed as well as written/verbal practise. 

Times Tables: Year 4 have a Multiplication Check in June and are expected to know all of their times tables fluently by then. Please encourage your child to practise their times tables regularly - this can be on TTRS, but other ways of learning are valuable too!
