Meet the Year 2 Team

We have two sites that work together at Chuter Ede and there are three classes in Year 2.

Our Learning

Autumn 1 Term - We will be learning about animals under the sea, the Arctic and Antarctic and habitats.   Our Maths will focus on place value and key number skills.   In art, we will be looking at Eric Carle (who is also our key author for this half term) and will be creating our own seahorses.  Balderton site will have Peaceful Possum's for yoga during one of their PE sessions.

Autumn 2 Term - We will be going on a trip to The Deep following on from our learning in Autumn 1 about under the sea.  We will be focussing our English work on celebrating differences.  Our Maths will move onto addition and subtraction and some multiplication work.  Fernwood site will have Peaceful Possum's for yoga during one of their PE sessions.
