New Activity- Wow us with your wonderful writing!

This is a throw-back to our Space topic. Watch the short animation 'La Luna'. You can find it on Disney Plus or You Tube. The story has no words! Re-tell the story in your own beautiful words as if it was written in a book. Use a story mountain to help you plan which excellent words and phrases you will choose. Remember your VCOP (vocabulary, conjunctions, openers and punctuation) and super sentence work? You will need all of those skills for this activity. You can write a chunk every day rather than complete the story all in one go so this job will provide you with around 6 or 7 days of fab writing activity. New Activity - Be a world explorer

Some of you have found out that chocolate is made from beans which grow on trees.

Do you have a cacao tree in your garden? Do we have one in the school grounds?

Where in the world do cacao trees grow?

Let's start to think about that question by doing some geography work. Let's use maps, atlases or Google Maps to help us find out about the Equator. Do some research to find out what it is like on the Equator. Maps are so interesting. Have a look and enjoy learning something new about the world we live in.
