A new local area SEND inspection framework was published towards the end of December and came into force from January 2023. Nottinghamshire CC received notification from Ofsted this week that Nottinghamshire will be inspected under the new Framework between Monday 23rd January and Friday 3rd February.

The local policing team and the Council are wanting to encourage residents of the Balderton area to report any issues they are experiencing within the village as we have found that some incidents are being reported to the incorrect authority or not reported at all. The council have created a leaflet to help direct your reports to the most appropriate service. By doing this we can ensure that residents are receiving the best service from us and our partners as well as allowing all of us to analyse the statistics for the area and paint a clearer picture of where we need to focus our resources.
