Hello everyone!! Welcome back!  We hope you all enjoyed time with your families in the lovely sunshine over half-term.

You will find new 'flower' tabs for Year 1 and 2 below, so that they will each have their own page and you may feel it is easier to find your year group's activities.

We have left the links to the ongoing provision on the front page for those of you who are enjoying accessing them.

Your emails have been really making us smile and we love hearing about all the exciting things you have been up to so please keep sending them!!

Keep smiling

From all the Key Stage One teachers

As some of you begin to prepare to potentially return to school on June 1st, you might like to look at some of these helpful resources and share them with your child. They are designed to reassure and promote a smooth transition back to school life. smiley
We are really happy to hear that so many of you are enjoying READING!! So we've put together a few links that may help you access some new books. Take a look!!

Message for Year 2! Wednesday 13th May...

Sadly, White Rose Maths have taken the accompanying worksheets for their videos off their home learning website. We have looked into BBC Bitesize instead and their maths looks great! If you search 'BBC Bitesize KS1 Maths' and then click on 'Year 2' you will find daily lessons. Today's is about subtracting 2 digit numbers and it's fab! The video is great and then there are worksheets available that you can either print off or look at online and just write the answers down. Have fun with your maths- we like the idea of you making your own bunches of 10 and separate 1s somehow! Email us with your ideas! xxx

Please take the opportunity of this offer, take a look at the site and what it can offer.

As the Coronavirus spreads, we’re aware that more schools are closing and pupils’ learning is being disrupted. Parents, carers and teachers are looking for ways to ensure the continuity of education during school closures so that no children miss out on valuable learning time.

To support you during this period, Twinkl is offering  a One Month Ultimate Membership, totally free of charge to every parent and carer so pupils can still have access to high-quality learning during any periods of disruption.

Setting this up is really easy to do - go to and enter the code UKTWINKLHELPS

Please also share this code with other parents. We’ve also put together some helpful guidance to outline a few ideas for support  during school closures, to ensure high quality learning continues.

APPs and other things

There are lots of great APPs out there. We'll keep adding any we come across on here. Equally if you know of any really good ones you've found and your child enjoys, let us know by email and we can pop them on here for all to try!

Pic collage - use photos to put collages together, add speech bubbles, cut out and layer images. Lots of fun!
