Year 2 Messages
In year 2 we've had lovely emails from Ernie, Raya, Layla and Nevaeh! Thanks for brightening our days with photos of what you've been doing! Please share your activities with us- even if it's not school work!
Please keep them coming xxx
Please take the opportunity of this offer, take a look at the site and what it can offer.
As the Coronavirus spreads, we’re aware that more schools are closing and pupils’ learning is being disrupted. Parents, carers and teachers are looking for ways to ensure the continuity of education during school closures so that no children miss out on valuable learning time.
To support you during this period, Twinkl is offering a One Month Ultimate Membership, totally free of charge to every parent and carer so pupils can still have access to high-quality learning during any periods of disruption.
Setting this up is really easy to do - go to www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and enter the code UKTWINKLHELPS
Please also share this code with other parents. We’ve also put together some helpful guidance to outline a few ideas for support during school closures, to ensure high quality learning continues.
APPs and other things
There are lots of great APPs out there. We'll keep adding any we come across on here. Equally if you know of any really good ones you've found and your child enjoys, let us know by email and we can pop them on here for all to try!
Pic collage - use photos to put collages together, add speech bubbles, cut out and layer images. Lots of fun!
Hi year two children and parents! If you'd like to do some maths today, how about visiting the White Rose Maths home learning page? We use White Rose lots in school and they are fab.
Just go to the link below, click on our year group (or try year one if you are more comfortable starting there) and watch the video of a mini-lesson. There is a live version at 10am too.
To the right of the video link you'll see an activity sheet to do. No need to print, just have it on the screen. The answers are there too- make sure you look at them together afterwards and learn from any mistakes.
25/3/20 - Year 1s how are your beans looking? Have any started to grow? Don't forget that you can send us any pictures at our email address email@example.com. BBC bitesize have some great videos to watch and games to play all linked to our plant topic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zpxnyrd
Why don't you take a look? With this gorgeous weather we are having you could also have a hunt for any plants near to your home or in your garden? Can you name them? If not, investigate using google to find their names!
Sign of the Week-
