Let's read the story!!
Now you've enjoyed the story here are some facts about Javan Rhinos!
This week we would like you to write a new story using Ronald the Rhino as your inspiration.
You could either retell the story but make it even better than it already is by using -
- Amazing Adjectives (see the word mat below)
- Super Openers (see word mat below)
- A variety of Conjunctions (for example and, because, when, if, that)
- And of course remembering your capital letters and full stops!!
OR you may want to make up your own story using a different animal but using the same moral– “Embracing your Uniqueness” as your main idea.
Some of you may want to practise ordering the story on the Story Map.
There is also a reading comprehension about the story if you’d like to give it a try. Again, choose which level you think is best for you!!
